I have tried to increase the scan time from 10 to 30 seconds following the instructions in the manual. I re-synced after selecting 30 seconds from the app as instructed, but all I can get are 10 second scans. can someone please help me and tell me how to do it?

click on settings, top shows scan time, select 30, then at top right be sure to click SAVE
I have also tried to adjust the scan time(including the save) and then syncing, but it doesn’t work.
